How can I let Deepblu verify my certifications?
Your certifications and specialties are part of your diver identity and resume. As an online community for divers, Deepblu of course lets you add these to complete your profile. What is more, is that Deepblu can verify your certifications for you, giving you a green checkmark to let others know that your certification is indeed legit.
- Show others which certifications you hold by entering them in your profile
- Obtain a green checkmark by letting Deepblu verify your certifications
In the Deepblu app
- Open the menu by clicking the hamburger icon in the lower left corner.
- Tap your name at the top to open your user profile
- Tap the Edit user profile button
- Tap the Add Dive Certification box
- In the Add Dive Certification screen, choose a certification agency (e.g. PADI), a certification type (e.g. Open Water), and enter the certification number which you can find on your certification card
- Tap the Upload Certification box to attach a photo of your certification card
- Tap Done in the top right corner to upload the data to Deepblu
- Allow 24–72 hours for Deepblu to verify your certification. Once this is done, you will see a green checkmark next to your certification and on your user profile.
On the Deepblu website
- Make sure you’re logged in to Deepblu
- Click the downward arrow in the right top corner of the website
- Choose Settings
- Choose Edit Profile
- Click on the pencil icon in the Dive Certification box
- Click on + Add New Certification
- Choose a Certification Agency, a Certification Level and enter the Certification Number.
- Click the Upload Certification box to attach a photo of your certification card
- Click Save to upload the data to Deepblu
- Allow 24–72 hours for Deepblu to verify your certification. Once this is done, you will see a green checkmark next to your certification and on your user profile.
